Quantum Physics Education Research over the Last Two Decades: A Bibliometric Analysis

Quantum physics is an essential field of science education research, which reflects the high relevance research on quantum and its technologies all around globe. In this paper, we report a bibliometric analysis community’s scientific output in area period from 2000 to 2021. A total 1520 articles published peer-reviewed journals were retrieved Web Science Scopus databases conduct analysis. This study aims provide overview terms production, preferred publication venues, most involved researchers countries (including collaborations), topics. The main findings point continuous increase over last two decades. Furthermore, they indicate shift regarding foci. While formerly mainly papers teaching content published, recently, relevancy empirical studies learning can be observed.
